The questions venues and guests ask most, answered in one page.
In short: Juke4ME is a collaborative jukebox for bars, restaurants and cafés. Guests scan a QR code, pick and vote for songs from YouTube Music, and the venue plays a continuous, server-managed radio. There is no cabinet to install and nothing for guests to download: a device with a browser connected to the amplifier is enough.
Juke4ME is a collaborative jukebox for bars, restaurants and cafés. Guests scan a QR code at their table, pick songs from YouTube Music and vote on the queue; the venue plays a continuous, server-managed radio on its sound system. Guests need no app and no account. The product started in 2016 and is deployed with venues in Malaysia.
A device with a recent browser — a mini PC, a laptop, a tablet or a TV box — connected to your amplifier, plus an internet connection. No jukebox cabinet, no payment terminal, no hardware to buy. Setup usually takes under thirty minutes; the setup guide lists the six steps.
No. Juke4ME is a progressive web app: scanning the QR code opens it in the phone browser with the venue already selected. Nothing to install, no account to create, no password to remember.
Every track added by a guest enters the venue queue with a vote count. Guests vote for the tracks they want to hear, and the queue is re-ordered by votes, so the most supported track plays next when the current song ends. A track nobody votes for stays in the queue and waits its turn.
Yes. You build playlists and schedule them by time slot, and the agenda always wins over guest requests during those slots. At any moment you can pause, skip a track, remove an entry or switch the jukebox to automatic radio.
Yes. Announcements and offers can be broadcast on the player screen, so the music and your promotions reach the same audience at the same moment — happy hour, a live night, a new menu.
Bars, cafés, restaurants, malls, night clubs, padel clubs and fitness centres: any venue that plays music can turn it into a collaborative jukebox. Bars and clubs use the queue as part of the night; restaurants and cafés use it to hand the mood of the room to their guests.
The first 30 days are free with every feature. Then a subscription in Malaysian Ringgit: RM 149 per month for one venue, RM 199 for two, RM 249 for three, RM 299 for four, and RM 79 per additional venue. Annual billing saves 20%, and the first 50 venues can lock a Founder rate of RM 99 per month for 24 months. The full grid is on the pricing page.
Juke4ME does not host its own catalogue: tracks are streamed from YouTube Music through the official platform. That gives the queue a very large catalogue without the venue maintaining a local library, and without the gaps of a fixed jukebox selection.
Yes. Juke4ME does not grant public performance rights. The venue remains responsible for the licences required to play music publicly in its premises, delivered in Malaysia by MACP, PPM and RPM. It is the same obligation as for a radio, a playlist or a jukebox cabinet.
The player keeps playing what is already loaded and keeps its position in the current track. When the connection returns it reconnects on its own and resumes where the room actually is instead of restarting the song, and the venue becomes visible again in the guests' app. Short outages do not stop the evening.
Guests can pick and vote with no account and no personal data. A profile is optional and only keeps a guest's picks across visits. Data processing is described in the privacy policy.
Yes. Multi-venue management is included: one account, one dashboard, and a separate player, playlist schedule and QR code per venue. Plans are priced by number of venues, with RM 79 per additional venue beyond four.
